Tax Free Childcare at Hazles Farm

Hazles Farm Childcare is proud to support families through the Tax-Free Childcare scheme.

What is Tax-Free Childcare?
Tax-Free Childcare is a government scheme that allows working parents to get 20% of their childcare costs paid by the government, up to £2,000 per child per year (£4,000 for a child with disabilities). This funding can be used to pay for nursery fees, after-school clubs, and other eligible childcare.

Who can apply?
You may be eligible if you:

  • Are working or self-employed
  • Earn under £100,000 per year
  • Have children under 12 years old (or under 17 if your child has a disability)

How it works:

  1. Parents set up an account on the government’s Tax-Free Childcare website.
  2. You pay money into your account, and the government adds a 20% top-up.
  3. You can then use the funds to pay nursery fees directly to Hazles Farm Childcare.

Why use Tax-Free Childcare?

  • It reduces the cost of nursery fees for families
  • Gives you flexibility to use your childcare allowance as needed
  • Can be combined with other funding schemes, such as the universal 15 hours or extended 30 hours, where eligible

 Getting started:
To apply, visit  Tax-Free Childcare: What Tax-Free Childcare is - GOV.UK and follow the instructions. Once your account is set up, you can begin using your funds to pay for childcare at Hazles Farm Childcare.
